Human Resources Generalist

Summary:

We need your help to take our company to the next level! This is a new position and while we have some basic tools and policies in place, we have tons of projects that we need your help to get done. You'll help us shape our culture and you will be an integral part of our management team. We need someone who has excellent time management skills and is a self-starter.

Duties:

Conduct Annual Employee engagement Survey
Review and revise job descriptions, develop job development / growth paths
Research wage data annually, ensure comp bands are in line with current pay
Oversee employee Dispute resolution - employee grievances / disputes / formal complaints
New hire onboarding, educate new hires on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
Conduct Exit Interviews
Interview managers and team members to develop KPI's and guidelines for performance reviews including standards for remote work
Ensure managers complete performance reviews and that adequate communication is achieved on performance by managers
Review / recommend policies for employee handbook
Oversee employee benefits and wellness programs
Keep employee files up to date and in order
Recruit for open positions, Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
Keep job postings current on handshake, linkedin, website, indeed, etc.
Administer payroll

Experience:

3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area

Workhours:

This is a hybrid position with one day per week expected to be on site at our office in Lexington, Kentucky. More time in office is expected on first hire and may be required from time to time based on project needs.
