Inside Sales Account Manager

Reports to: VP of Sales

Summary:

The Inside Sales Account Manager sustains and nurtures solid relationships with key clients that generate income for Baumann Paper. The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining the company’s existing relationships with a client or group of clients while adding new customers, so that they will continue to buy and grow with Baumann Paper Company as their vendor of choice. The Inside Sales Account Manager utilizes Baumann Paper resources to develop and implement strategic solutions to achieve key clients’ long-term goals. They serve to understand each customer’s demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate growth sales for the company from those existing clients. New accounts in the verticals served will be a major focus to success.

Duties:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
• Maintain and grow accounts that are important to Baumann Paper.
• Maintain customer relationships while executing strategies to increase sales for Baumann Paper’s key clients.
• Organize and conduct sales calls with vendors to deliver on growth expectations, goals, and objectives.
• Prepare bids and proposals, quoting Baumann Paper products.
• Identify new business opportunities for key clients.
• Assist with new customer set up and when needed, support in the accounts payable process (past due).
• Provide market-based insight to Pricing Analyst.
• Utilize Baumann Paper’s CRM to document all business development activity.
• Gather and analyze latest research to deliver innovative solutions to key customers.
• Contribute to the management of customer inventory, as requested by the customer.
• Coordinate demonstrations on equipment and products to perspective customers.
• Participate in tradeshows and conferences as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associates Degree or higher in Business, Management, Communications, or related field of study.
• 3-5 years of sales and proven account management experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• Sales experience in Healthcare, Foodservice, Education, Hospitality, or Manufacturing is preferred and highly desirable.

· Proficiency in the use of Gmail and google sheets.
· Ability to effectively present information to others in verbal and written format.
· Ability to work with a team and members of other departments of known concepts.

Workhours:

Generally 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Payrate:

$17.00 /Hour
Sales bonuses, commissions
