These surface prep floor pads are designed to remove floor finishes in preparation for a new finish. They require only water or a neutral cleanser to effectively remove floor finish. Because harsh stripping chemicals are not required, cleaning with these pads leaves behind no slippery residue from stripping chemicals, there is no stripper contact with skin and clothing, and there is no need to clean up stripper from baseboards or nearby floors, improving both productivity and safety. Optimized mineral abrasives leave less hazing and scratching than sanding screens, and high-quality nylon fibers are coated throughout the pad with resin and abrasives for a consistently aggressive cut. These pads are suitable for a variety of floor types, including wood, vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, marble, terrazzo, and concrete floors, and are used with rotary or automatic floor machines with a 175 RPM - 600 RPM speed. |
